What would a country holiday be without real farm life? Right next to the Bio-Landhotel Anna is the Organic Farm Vill with its own riding stable, managed by Erich and Anna’s eldest son and Stefan’s brother – Kaj. As our partner, he offers our guests the opportunity to experience authentic farm life up close – genuine, personal, and original.
The Organic Farm Vill has been family-owned since the 15th century and is now run by the fifth generation of the Vill family. Since 1985, the Vill farm has been managed organically, and since 1989, entirely according to the biodynamic Demeter guidelines. The focus is on apple cultivation and livestock farming – all in harmony with nature and its cycles, with the farm regarded as its own living organism.
Demeter agriculture was Erich’s passion, but the carefully tended cottage garden at the farm is Anna’s pride and joy. From spring to autumn, she supplies fresh vegetables and herbs for the Bio-Landhotel Anna and the Organic Farm Vill.
Naturally, we use our own products in our hotel, whether at breakfast, on the terrace, or at dinner – from apple juice and apple cider to cured beef, speck, cheese, and fruit spreads. Everything our family produces is served at our table and, of course, can be taken home with you.
A life without horses is like a garden without flowers. Around our Bio-Landhotel Anna and Organic Farm Vill, nature flourishes in every corner – a small green oasis full of peace and tranquillity in South Tyrol. The Haflinger horses and ponies at the riding stable are an integral part of farm life. As our partner, our hotel guests also have the opportunity to experience life with the horses up close.
Look forward to relaxed pony rides for children from the age of two, individual and group lessons, as well as extended rides through the impressive Val Venosta landscape.
